1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing and using Buttress QMS ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by these terms and provisions. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of service

Buttress QMS provides a cloud-based supplier quality management platform designed for UK manufacturing businesses. The Service includes features for supplier management, NCR tracking, CAPA workflows, inspection management, and related quality management functions.

3. Account registration

To use the Service you must:

• Register for an account with accurate and complete information.
• Maintain the security of your account credentials.
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.

4. Use of service

You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service strictly in accordance with these terms. You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers.
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code.
• Use automated means to access the Service without permission.

5. Subscription & payments

The Service is billed on a monthly subscription basis. You will be billed in advance on a recurring basis. A valid payment method is required to process the payment for your subscription. By submitting payment information, you authorise us to charge subscription fees to the payment method provided.

6. Free trial

We offer a 60-day free trial for new users. At the end of the trial period your account will be charged unless you cancel before the trial ends. You may cancel at any time during the trial period without charge.

7. Data ownership

You retain all rights to your data. We do not claim ownership over any data you upload to or create within the Service. You grant us a limited license to process your data solely to provide the Service.

Upon termination, you may export your data within 90 days, after which it will be securely deleted in accordance with our data retention policy.

8. Service availability

We strive to maintain high uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. We reserve the right to perform scheduled maintenance with reasonable notice.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Buttress QMS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting support. Refunds are handled according to our refund policy.

11. Changes to terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

12. Governing law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
